Suncheon Bay is a treasure of nature, composed of both flatlands and reed fields. It is located in Suncheon –a southern coastal city in South Jeolla Province.
Depending on the season you go there, you can expect different types of nature scenes unfolding in front of your eyes and various species of birds soaring over your head in the limitless sky. In particular, the scenery in the fall season is considered to be a must-see tourist attraction as migratory birds and a sparkly sea of reeds fill the bay.
The Suncheon Bay is also famous among photographers for being one of the best locations to capture the perfect sunset moment. This is due to the breathtaking interlude of gold color that paints the whole scene, as the clear sky begins to fade away, giving place for the starry night to fall on the bay’s grounds.
