Jang-ho Beach
Do you know this place? It may be surprising, but it is located in Korea!
This small paradise is Jangho Beach (장호항), situated on the shores of Jangho village, a tiny fishing village on the East Sea Coast which has been designated as Korea’s most beautiful village in 2011.
Jangho beach has become more and more popular in the recent years, as in addition to providing a very picturesque scenery with its jagged rocks rising out of the clear turquoise waters, it is a great place to experience marine activities with your friends or family. Vacationers can observe the underwater wearing snorkeling gears or riding transparent kayaks, go rafting or fishing in the deep waters.
Jangho Beach is a perfect summer destination for a one day escape from the heat of Seoul city, as diving in the crystal blue waters will certainly feel quite refreshing!
How to get there: Take a bus for Samcheok at Seoul Express Bus Terminal. Once in Samcheok take the local bus n°24 and get off at Jangho.
