The Boryeong Mud Festival is an annual festival which takes place during the summer season in Boryeong. The town is around 200 km south of Seoul. The festival was first started in 1998 to promote the local therapeutic mud. Thereafter, by 2007, it became extremely popular among both locals and expats. This festival attracts more than 2 million visitors each year. Cover yourself in a thick, gray, good-for-you-skin mud (or even colored mud) as well as partake in mud wrestling, mud sliding, swimming in mud mega tubs, marine mud-training, mud massaging… There are also musical performances to keep you entertained while you’re there.
This event will take place every year in summer (Usually July). So be sure to do not miss it!!! It is a wonderful opportunity to create unforgettable memories. The Boryeong Mud Festival is a great opportunity to bond with your friends… or to take your revenge on your enemies 😉
